Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned properties on foot and/or by vehicle
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
  • Monitor buildings, entrances, and parking areas
  • Control access for visitors, employees, and contractors
  • Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
  • Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors
  • Report safety hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns
  • Work professionally with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
  • Follow all client post orders and company policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License (or ability to obtain one before employment if required)
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred for patrol positions)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Must successfully pass a background screening and drug screening (where required by law or client contract)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Experience

Security experience
Military experience
Law enforcement experience
Customer service or hospitality experience
